No new Lost last night. So how did I spend my evening? Screencapping and summarizing!

In Jae and Na Ra go out to dinner (at the one eatery everyone always goes to when they get drunk), but he gets a call from his mom because Mi Rae just turned in her resignation letter. He runs off to go find her, leaving a disappointed Na Ra. After some searching In Jae can't find her so he calls Na Ra up again to meet him.

He's at an auditorium of some sort (I think his brother was a conductor, but I don't really know) which is unlocked for whatever reason. So he goes in to reminisce about his brother and finds Mi Rae.

She's all weepy eyed, but not over leaving her job but because SHE HAS BEEN IN LOVE WITH HIM FOR THE PAST TEN YEARS. Yeah, way before she got engaged to his brother. And she's been sticking around the company since In Chang's death because of her feelings.

In Jae is shocked enough that Mi Rae manages to leave the building so he has to do the dramatic run to catch up.

He's thrilled, but also pissed that she failed to mention this fact for the past decade while he wallowed away in his tortured love for his brother's fiancee.

Mi Rae is like "Dude, let it go."

But then breaks down crying on the stairs because her love is so true and painful.

Na Ra's cab pulls up at this moment.

She's about to be REALLY disappointed.

SNAP.

Mi Rae: *sobs*
In Jae: BRB.

It's hard out there for a player.

Na Ra wants to know if In Jae just called her so she would see that. In Jae apologizes and promises to talk to her about it tomorrow. Then shoves her in a cab so he can get back to his lady.

Apparently Mi Rae thought the best way to deal with the situation was leave. Confrontation is icky.

Meanwhile, Na Ra doesn't have enough money for the cab ride home. I don't know how she expected to get home even if In Jae hadn't sent her away. Nice financial planning.

In Jae runs to Mi Rae's apartment only to be welcomed with an unwelcome sight.

How do you like THEM apples, huh?
Na Ra is pissed at the situation, but won't actually end up doing anything because she is a woman and thus can only bitch and moan and let the men in her life push her around.

Seung Woo washes Mi Rae's feet because she has blisters from walking around emo-like all day.

And really, I just included this scene because I wanted to show this cap:

LOVE IT. Especially because he tells her she doesn't have to really leave her job, he just wanted to test her. What. A. Douche.
The next day at work In Jae brushes Na Ra aside much to her irritation.

Mi Rae is out 'sick' so the team leader assigns Na Ra the task of buying her flowers. She's really excited about it.

I think Mi Rae is only sick because the costume department puts her in clothes like this:

Seriously. What is that? Why does her jacket-shirt-dress have doilies on it?
Luckily, In Jae is smitten so her bizarre wardrobe doesn't bother him. He brings flowers (after having run into Na Ra at the florist. Why? BECAUSE KOREA ONLY HAS ONE FLORIST).

Mi Rae is sorry to inform him that even though she loves him she still plans to marry Seung Woo.

Only not really. That last cap was Na Ra's imagination (which she herself is horrified by). So she is a little irritable when she runs into In Jae.

Things are a little icy between these two now, to say the least. In Jae is frustrated with Mi Rae and Na Ra is probably tired of loving men who love other women.

So she takes her coworker up on the offer of a night out on the town... and calls the high schooler.

He's only too thrilled to jump at the chance. He also brings matching white shirts for them to wear on the dance floor because he is a giant dweeb.
Meanwhile, Mi Rae is out on a date with Seung Woo at this cafe where you can try on wedding dresses and take pictures. It's really bizarre and creepy and Mi Rae is SUPER HAPPY to be there if you couldn't tell.

Somewhere else, In Jae is handling the rejection quite well.

Dance Party!

These caps do not do justice to the complete nonsense that was this guy's dancing. Seriously. He kept making hearts with his arms and swiggling all about.
Na Ra's coworker is annoyed (because she wants the high school kid) so she calls In Jae up (everyone assumes they are dating).

Once there the kid challenges him to a drinking contest (SMART).

In Jae drinks him under the table, of course. The kid's a stumbling drunk while In Jae remains a silent, sullen drunk.

After sending the kid home with the coworker, In Jae wants more to drink and asks Na Ra to accompany him.

Okay, so I only included this cap because of the random Matrix poster in the background. This show has a lot of random American things, especially when it comes to background music. So far I've heard Coldplay, Norah Jones, and Backstreet Boys - just to name a few.
Anyway, In Jae is depressed and lays his troubles out for Na Ra.

Morpheus watches on from over his shoulder.

Because I'm sure she really wants to hear it.

In Jae then face-plants on the table and Na Ra has to drag him home.

In his drunken, sad state he asks Na Ra to stay with him.

Dawwwww...

PSYYYYYYYYCH. Na Ra's imagination again. You play dirty, Korea.

She's disappointed and annoyed when In Jae starts sawing logs instead of makin' moves.

She sleeps on the couch because she doesn't have the money to get home and it was too late to call her family (again, learn to carry some cash on you for crying out loud). So she sleeps on the couch and drowsily answers the phone the next morning.

It's his mom calling, who was shocked at hearing a girl answer the phone.

Bwah ha ha. I kind of love his mother, because for once the mom is giving the son crap instead of the girl he is involved with. She's an interesting character, because she was poor for a very long time before finally finding success. So, she's rough around the edges even though she acts snobbish a lot of the time.
In Jae isn't as amused as I was.

At first he's angry at Na Ra for staying over, but soon softens when he realizes he's being a jerk.

Oh ho ho! SYMOBLISM?!
Time for another party! In Jae's mom's book has sold a bunch of copies, so she's bringing everyone together to celebrate. This will end well, don't you agree?

In Jae is super excited to see Seung Woo at the shindig.

Damn, his face healed. Now I just want to punch him more.

In Jae wants to talk to Mi Rae when she arrives, but Na Ra follows close behind.

awkwaaaard.

He still wants to talk, but then his mom and Seung Woo show up.

Mi Rae tries to play it off, but I know at least two people aren't buying it:

Oh, it is ON!
