I honestly don't remember which story that was from. All I remember is the barrel thing!
The version of Cinderella I read was the one where the stepsisters cut off parts of their feet! They had to fit in the shoes and then the prince saw the blood and was like, "Wtf? How about NO."
In that version she also had several dresses, silver and gold I believe, that came from a tree which I thought was AWESOME.
