rosdriseWatched Triple episodes 3-6 last night. And just like I figured I'm totally sold on Hwal. All it took was episode 3 and him getting skates AND A PUPPY for Haru. So adorable, I almost couldn't stand it. Then came episode 4 and the *looks* shared between them.
I'm watching this streaming because I don't want to wait for downloads, but this means that I am subjected to the translator comments found at the top of viikii. I know I can turn them off, but sometimes they actually have helpful bits. It's actually a little funny reading the back and forth between people going "Eww, does she like him? He's her brother" and other responding "GUYS NO HE ISN'T".
As cute as I think they are together, I have my own issues with the idea of a relationship between them. If Hwal were just a few years younger (didn't they say Hyun Tae was 34 at some point? Hwal must be the same age then) I would be all for it. My main problem is he doesn't pass the creepy equation - the math you do to figure out how young your S.O. can be without it being creepy. Take your age divided by 2 and add seven years. In the case of Hwal if he is in fact 34, the youngest person he should be dating would be 24. Haru is 16. That's too young - the oldest person she should be dating (according to the equation) is 18. SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HE IS YOUNGER.
Regardless, I'm still digging the series a huge amount and Haru's crush on her brother is super cute. I'm not sold on skater boy and all the viikii comments about how cute he is really isn't helping his case. I don't find his antics endearing at the moment, he needs to tone it down and maybe we'll be OK.
I'm done with Sang Hee. You can't play around with a guy you KNOW has feelings for you and then get depressed when he says he's not going to put up with your bullshit.
Soo In is infinitely more tolerable when she is dating Hwal. I really don't buy how hard and fast Hyun Tae fell for her though. Maybe if she displayed some sort of personality I would get it, but I just don't see how he can become so obsessed so quickly. He thought she was pretty and they've barely exchanged more than a few words between themselves since. Does he has a history of obsession we don't know of?
My refinished armoire is up in my dining room and it looks awesome. First, have the pics of it in it's old location/appearance before I got my hands on it.
And here it is in all it's glory
I love it because it houses all the bins of junk I had sitting out. Plus, I love the dark brown against the apple green. SO CUTE! Sorry for the crappy camera phone picture.
I need to search for new hardware now...
