As if I would care... (Vineyard Man 10)

And here is another completely random picspam from Vineyard Man (episode 10 this time!). Hey, the guys play darts during lunch, why can't I do another picspam?

At this point in the story both Taek Gi and Ji Hyun won't admit they like each other. Every single thing they do, however, shows how much they care about each other. It's all incredibly adorable and oblivious at the same time.



Currently, Taek Gi's ex-girlfriend is sharing Ji Hyun's room with her. She's helping Taek Gi (a former scientist himself) try to solve a problem the vineyard has with poorly cged moths. Anyway, Taek Gi agreed to celebrate in town with her. Ji Hyun's reaction to the news is to immediately head over to Taek Gi's room...







... and immediately start bothering him.



She starts flipping through a book on his dresser, probably not entirely sure why she came over in the first place.





And then jumps in front of the mirror to prevent him from getting ready for his date.





It's all insanely cute.





Meanwhile, Taek Gi is wondering what koolaid Ji Hyun drank because she's acting crazy.











Ji Hyun doesn't like being ignored in favor of other women







LOL, at least she is self aware.





That catches Ji Hyun off guard and he makes his escape.









HA HA, burn. That's payback for all the work she skipped out on during her super awkward dates with Kyung Min.





OH JUST ADMIT IT ALREADY, JI HYUN.

I liked how they wouldn't admit it, not becuase they were doing the usual "in-denial" thing so much as not wanting to butt in when they thought the other was in love with someone else.

I agree, but mostly in the case of Taek Gi. I think it was at the beginning of this episode that he sees Kyung Min and Ji Hyun almost kiss, which convinces him that she is only interested in guys like that. So he tries to stamp down his feelings because it hurts too much. I think Ji Hyun, at this point, is still hung up on the idea of Kyung Min as the ideal guy (even though he is as far from that as possible). Meanwhile she is growing to love the vineyard more and how it makes her happy in a far different way.. Taek Gi is kind of the manifestation of that?

What's interesting about this drama isn't so much that they just fell out of love with their first interests - it's that they grew & changed as people & suddenly the person who was the most compatible wasn't anymore.

I think Ji Hyun changes to the point where suddenly, she had nothing in common with Kyung Min. And like you said, she grew to love the vineyard & Taek Gi is definitely a manifestation of that.

The only thing I really didn't care for in Vineyard Man was that guy NEVER got told off for being a misogynistic bastard. I couldn't stand him.

I confess what little I saw of this drama bored me and I also laughed at the shitty production values but I do love the actress and wish her role had involved less whining. Also that link? AWESOME. I saw it the other day and have been showing it to everyone I know who might be interested. who knew hanadan was so like gossip girl? the bad part is i might start watching gg now XD

It's definitely not for everyone, and the first two episodes are kind of awful. But I honestly adored the rest. It's just such a cute love story and they are an adorable couple. All the other faults kind of fall by the wayside for me next to them.

HA HA, OMG the production values were awful. In the second to last episode when Taek Gi is chasing after a train you can see the camera operature and boom mic guy chasing after him in the wide shot. It's hilarious.
