I came in this morning with every intention of moving all my stuff back to the office. I think that will have to wait.

Why, yes. That IS a giant hole outside of my door.
Triple finale: here be spoilers...
I definitely set myself up for disappointment with this one. I kept thinking that there was no way they could end it without Hwal/Haru being the endgame. They had to be, and yet they weren't... except they kind of were? It may not have been explicit, but in my mind they do end up together. If there last scene was any indication - it's fate.
The time skip was so blatantly unneccessary. TWO YEARS? I really didn't buy that Haru would have gone that long not contacting Hwal. It cheapens their relationship.
And Poong Ho totally got shafted. Sure, he called himself Haru's boyfriend and she's obviously fond of him, but I just don't see anything more than that. She went two years and never asked a single thing about his personal life? Nice.
I did love Hae Yoon and Sang Hee's happy little family. That was pretty cute. And Sang Hee totally won me back with the silliest thing. After she learned she was pregnant and had just caught herself about to drink coffee, Hae Yoon walks by and she just GLARES at him and declares he's not allowed to drink coffee either. It was little, but I forgave her for all her shit after that. I'm easily swayed.
Hyun Tae and Su In were kind of adorable and if their story had been handled better I would have been happier for them. But the stalking and the moping made them a little unbareable.
Still, it was a fun, light show that I really enjoyed watching.

Date: 2009-08-10 01:30 pm (UTC)The time skip WAS ridiculously unnecessary. Like they just put it in there for the hell of it. But I am also convinced Haru and Hwal end up together. I don't see how they couldn't (all the UST during their meeting at her school was INTENSE). I also thought the same about Haru not contacting Hwal. It just didn't seem like Haru at all.
