Drunken, patriotic Soo-jung picspam

Get Karl! Oh Soo-jung... not sure of the episode. 7, I think? Nothing really spoilery though, beyond the dramawiki summary of the plot. But, probably the most beligerent piggy-back I've ever witnessed.

What you need to know: Karl (formerly, Man-soo before he trimmed down and became a pro-golfer) hired a con-man to pretend to be rich and get Soo-jung to agree to marry him, only to then dump her at the altar like she did Man-soo. The problem? Karl still loves Soo-jung despite not wanting to own up to it. So, when he learns that she got drunk with said con-man and released the rarely-seen TYPE C Soo-jung (the drunken Soo-jung) he knows he is the only one that can wrangle her. Well... he can try.








It's hard to tell in still images, but she's smacking him upside the head in the end there...and it was fantastic

I'm actually up through episode 12 myself, and it's shaping up to be a pretty fun show. The only real issue is Oh Ji-ho. I've seen critiques of his acting, but the only other thing I've seen him in is Fantasy Couple and I thought he did a pretty decent job there. But here? Man. He plays a very convincing cardboard cutout of a person.

OMG THIS LOOKS SO FUN. The thing is I've tried to get through the first ep like THREE TIMES already and just can't seem to. The premise and characters just seem so... awful, but I feel like it's one of those things if I stick it out I'd actually enjoy? And Oh Ji-ho is just so nice to look at. One day, ONE DAY.

OH, THEY ARE. I kind of hated everyone for a huge chunk of the show. Soo-jung only cared about money to such a degree I kind of wondered if she was human. And Man-soo was so hateful towards women it made me angry. And Soo-jung's friends where just kind of hateful themselves.

And now (12 eps in) I kind of like everyone? They're much better rounded characters at this point (minus the secondary girl who is just ridiculous) and much more tolerable. And Soo-jung is HILARIOUS. She is the BEST.

I will never not enjoy looking at Oh Ji-ho.
