rosdriseThe subs for episodes 4 and 5 of GOLD came out recently. THANK GOODNESS. It's the perfect palate cleanser I needed after finishing Jyuui Dolittle. GOLD is just fantastic. Yuuri is amazing and it's the first time I'm even a little annoyed Nagasawa Masami (there is something about her mannerisms that can just drive me up a wall) but she's actually pretty funny here. And I live for her and Amami Yuki's interactions. They are, pardon the pun, GOLD.
I also finally got around to watching the Liar Game movie. I'd put it off for quite some time, because I was less than impressed with the second season. But I really liked the movie. Where I just trudged my way through the episodes of the second season and got annoyed with the non-ending, I actively enjoyed the movie. I laughed out loud more than once, too.
Here are a few caps of scenes I really enjoyed in their silli/LiarGame/randomass-ness

Akiyama sure does enjoy taunting.
So, this woman totally got outsmarted by Nao and it was amazing.
She picked on Nao, which didn't go over well with anyone.
AH HA HA. This Guy.
I don't care how cheesy it might be, but I love that Nao got her wish in the end. It made me smile. No matter what people say, she's not stupid. She proven that plenty of times during different games. I would sink like a stone in any of this, but she figures stuff out, and even does her fair share of trickery. But she always believes the best in people. She's not naive, she just wants everyone to be the best version of themselves. I think she's fantastic.

Date: 2011-02-03 01:45 pm (UTC)The closest we got was that he didn't move to Africa for a year and is letting her live at his office while she goes to vet school. They did try and fake us out at the very end where he leaned in for what looked like a kiss and then smacked her forehead because there was a "mosquito" (though he was just messing with her). Very frustrating -_-
